Building upon the paintings created during the Gullkistan residency in Iceland, these paintings distill visual information into components and layers. Introducing an opaque and swift viscosity, the enamel paint used in these works opened up the processes of making to the element of time and duration. Created individually these fragments hinge together to create a visual veiling of mapping processes and organic form. Constructed through a process of variability and grouping, the completed work comprises multiple panels that archive moments of signal and noise in a painterly dialogue.
